1. Start with a dry rubber-bristle brush
Before you vacuum, run a rubber-bristle or self-cleaning brush like FurAway™ across the cushions in short, firm strokes. The static and drag lift fur that’s wedged into the fabric — the stuff a vacuum tends to miss.
2. Then vacuum
Once you’ve pulled the embedded fur to the surface, a vacuum picks it up much more easily. Use the upholstery attachment and go slow — fast passes just push fur around.
3. Damp microfiber for the last pass
For lingering fine hairs, wipe the cushion with a barely-damp microfiber cloth in one direction. The water tension grabs what’s left.
